Passepartout

Passepartout is the stage name of a Dresden multi-instrumentalist who has helped shape rock and jazz on stage in various band projects, including at the Bunte Republik Neustadt and the Elbhangfest.

As Passepartout, Dietrich Kammer records his diverse original compositions, with only a small amount of support from other musicians. His inspirations include major names such as Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, and Nick Cave. Musically, he is oriented toward indie rock in the vein of Eels or The Flaming Lips, though categorizing him precisely is very difficult.
