I have a mirror
while you have the sea
And I have a light
while you have the moon
And while the sea is still
The moon can see his face
And you are there to witness
Each tear that falls from
The cheek of the moon
You catch them in a rose
And feed them to the spring
The dancer and his dance
The Abel with his Cain
They move along the summer
And paint the autumn grey
You tell me that the moon
Indeed is a queen
And can be pulled down
Only by women
To walk up on her road
It leads you to a dream
Of the next spring
