Running

I keep running because if I slow down
I am sure that I will fall down to the ground

When you open up the book that I wrote
I fear that you will choke on the words

I did my best to make all of the songs
Contain something that is not wrong

Keep me honest and keep me sane
I will move into the world again

Then I came to the conclusion
There is no song to fix all that is wrong

The earth beneath me pushes against my feet
The air around me is getting harder to breathe
